If I could, I would give a ZERO rating! This company(at least this location in Dover, De)has been unbelievably stressful! First we met with Betty who mysteriously disappeared from the company, then after not hearing back from her time after time, we called and spoke to her so called manager Mickie who said not to worry she would take over where Betty abruptly left off. At first she seemed attentive to our requests as we were special ordering our home. Then she totally dropped the ball! After sending her email after email after email and she NEVER replied, I called and spoke to her on the phone. It was like she was offended that I called her, she was rude and short with me stating she would get back to me when she had the chance. So I waited and waited..NOTHING! I emailed her another very friendly email..still no response!! A major RED FLAG!! There is something very wrong going on at this location of Clayton Homes! Definitely not purchasing a home here! Run for the hills people! Buyer Beware!

Run Run Run AWAY!!!! Unless you want to be homeless and pulled thru the mud over and over again. Nothing gets done on time Nobody cares and Nobody does their job. Sales team to head construction manager all should be fired and sued!!! Don’t bother with your so sorry please call us we want to hear about it , because you have heard all about it and corporate does nothing to help! Stay far away from Clayton Homes

Communication is horrible…. They don’t answer calls, emails, nothing. I’m still waiting for a reply back to my email from the sales manager Betty. Guess she’s not worried about it! First time home buyers and this has been awful! Would never recommend.

They will lie cheat and steal from you every way they can please don’t waste your time. Once they got my money they wouldn’t answer or return my calls it was a nightmare and you and your store wouldn’t return my calls to settle any thing I had to call the advocacy group for help. If you want to help me for once you can recommend another place I can buy a trailer from thank you. Should I post some screenshots?

In 2022 we brought a new trailer. 3 weeks after delivery the shingles blew off. The doors are the wrong size you can see daylight through the back door. The windows will not stay up the floor waves and creaks the counter top has warpped because of the dishwasher and there is more. We have been waiting ever since Nov of 22 for these repairs to be done. Now they see my name come up on their caller ID and they won't answer and if they do they say someone will call me back and they never do please do not trust this company they are liars and thieves

We have been working with Clayton homes since June trying to get our new home. They have been giving us a run around and not Communicating with us on and of the process. We have done everything they did ask us to do on the time we said we would be done. Several emails and phone calls have been made and no reply back on the status. Our new trailer has been sitting on there lot . My family is displaced while we wait our pets are boarded at over 1000 dollars now and till no answer on anything from Clayton homes we are very Frustrated at this point

Run while you can! I wish I would've read these reviews before me and my husband got too excited. A friend of mine warned my NOT to deal with Clayton because of their terrible experience. I guess I hoped mine would be different. My experience was almost identical to several reviews...... Difficulty getting a response back, a ridiculous end quote on the home with no real justification as to why the house is now over 100,000 over listing price. This place gives the run around. A big waist of time. Thankfully we were able to get most of our money back. Found a realtor and bought a great home that was already on the market. Please advise...Dont waist your time or money with Clayton Homes.

I’m so upset with Clayton Holmes. It took them 19 long months to put my Doublewide on my land and as of now no one can tell me why it has taken so long. I was also promise certain things and they never follow through. If you want peace of mind, you would never do business with them
