Cortland Estates

I have been profusely trying to reach someone here at the property consistently calling and emailing everyday all day i even drove to the office and the doors were locked at 10am. Can someone please tell me how I am supposed to get in contact with someone in order to rent with them? I am trying to move there asap because I am relocating from Chicago by the end of this month and Cortland caught my eye.

I have been trying to get someone to reach back out to me about a unit for rent 6 times and no one has reach back out. I am relocating from Tennessee to Cortland to be closer to my kids. So how can I talk to a person on a unit. Does anybody have that answer Update there is still no one answering the phones. What are you paying these people for. Clearly y’all don’t have control of your company and management as get a reach back out is completely impossible. I called the direct number you suggested and still nothing even in email…. Someone needs to look into replacing some people

I want to thank Amanda for being here. She helped me get some past due paper work completed. She let me know she lives about two hours away so I'm grateful she was here to help me.

It has been impossible to get ahold of anyone I have called and emailed several times. The apartments look like a nice place to live, but good luck getting in contact with a real person.

The apartment community is really nice as there's a pool, grills to cook out on, workout room and a clubhouse! It's pretty quiet as management makes sure everyone is respectful of their neighbors. My toilet handle broke recently but management had someone out right away to fix it 🤗 The apartments themselves are spacious and nice, and the walls aren't thin, so you don't hear the neighbors at all.

Interesting how all of the reviews disappeared. Tina was an excellent property manager until Cortland estates mismanaged her contract. Now there's constant turnover of managers causing confusion, and unfinished paperwork which the attorney on retainer shoves the blame onto tenants for not being completed. Maintenance consists of one that constantly complains of working and the other never to be seen (if they both even still work there). Like many places way overpriced for what the property is worth. Given that they don't pay their employees well, and upkeep of grounds is inconsistent it makes you wonder where the money goes...

Management is bad. Constant turnover. Can't keep maintenance people. No one is clearly on the same page. Takes forever when you need something done. Not a good place to live. Actually care about your residents and maybe I'll change my review. EDIT: now they are charging me their work order charges when it's their job to fix whatever is wrong with this place. Wow. Get it together. 2nd edit: I called about there being a possible sewage back up 2 weeks ago and instead of looking at it then, now it's leaked out into the hallway and is a huge mess. AND IT REEKS!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE. NOW YOU'RE BEING REACTIVE INSTEAD OF PROACTIVE?! Make it make sense!!!!!

We just move in, the process was long but the staff was so nice and helpful all the time! Kindly people and Rebecca it's awesome she do her best with the resources she get!
