Beautiful spot along the Kennebec River watching the boat traffic. And the Virginia (a replica of the first English ocean-going ship built in the Americas) was impressive.

October of last year, I drove all the way from New York (with a stopover in Newport, RI) to see this place which they said is beautiful during Fall Foliage. And they were right! The place was stunning! I stayed there for an hour just gazing at this beautiful place.

Great little park with public docks, plenty of benches/chairs, shady and exposed areas, and nice restrooms. Very uplifted and well-maintained public space. People seem to come here to hang out or eat lunch, even when it's chilly! Definitely worth a stop-by if you are walking around town.

Wonderful Farmers market on a Saturday morning. Outstanding fresh vegetables from local farmers, an Italian lady who makes cakes and pasta, seafood stand, lots of breads and pastries, delicious local cheese (the ragged island is heavenly with local apples from the Apple orchard also at the market! Honey crisp apples).

What a beautiful area in Bath, Maine. The park is very clean, plenty of free parking. They have bathrooms. We met a lot of families there with kids and pets. We went to the farmers ' market well worth the drive. So many vendors everything from vegetables to meat poultry and fresh seafood😋. The vendors were very welcoming and friendly. We turned it into a day trip to visit this very historical city. It's beautiful right near the coast 😍. It's well worth the drive to visit the farmers market and this beautiful city.
