Cap'n Fish's Cruises

Our day out was beautiful with sunshine and little wind. Our captain was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the lighthouses, islands, seals, birds and other boats. We learned lots about the history of the area and the scenery was breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this cruise and would do it again sometime.

We had a good time. It was windy but a nice ride. Not many places to sit outside it was very crowded at first, but once the boat was moving and people moved around there seemed to be more space. There was an awful loud sound the whole time from inside. The toilet got clogged. The drink prices and options were decent. The crew were all wonderful! Very nice! The captain was very knowledgeable and made the whole ride interesting.

We have done two cruises with Cap' n Fishes the Whale and puffin cruise and the Harbor cruise. Both were excellent! Our natural guide and captain were both excellent in spotting wildlife, and informative. I would recommend this tour to everyone!! It's kid friendly and great for seniors. The boats do have an I side portion which is great for rainy days.

Great experience. Staff was friendly and informative. The ride was amazing and dog friendly. Though we did not see any whales, we did see seals and 2 different species of dolphins. Since we didn't see any whales they gave us a voucher for another ride all they way to the end of next season. Will definitely do again.

My husband and I took this tour on a sunny Monday afternoon—when the fog was rolling in! Nonetheless? It was terrific! Our Captain’s narration of the inner islands and lighthouses was so terrific. The Crew was also so very helpful. Just a great time and very relaxing. Bring a sweater, just in case. Thanks so much! We learned a lot about the geography, wildlife, habitats, and bird life. A great value and awesome time!

Went on the Puffin and Whale Watch cruise. The weather was less than cooperative. Heavy fog. But I was still able to get a few decent photos. I'm sure this cruise would be absolutely amazing in nice weather conditions. Was very happy when Cap'n Fish's issued us a voucher for another trip for next season. My wife and I will be back again and hopefully in better weather. I can only give 4 stars at the moment, as we really didn't "See" all that much due to the fog, but I feel like this will go up to 5 stars after our return trip! Definitely worth checking out.

We were happy to know that this was a dog friendly cruise, and we brought along our labradoodle , Rosie. It was so nice to see a couple of other dogs along for the ride, each oblivious of the others, just enjoying to cruise among the islands. The captain who narrated the trip was very informative and also pointed out seals and described the different birds we saw. I was disappointed we only saw 2 lighthouses, as I was expecting to see Pemaquid light too. But it was still a lovely fall day on the water.

Captain was very professional and a good tour guide. The tour out to the Outerlands was very good, informative, and taught us a good bit about the history of the area set up of the turbo was nice because you could be undercover or could be out in the open. You could go up front and be in the breeze or stay in the back and be a bit protected from the breeze. Boothbay Harbor is beautiful and there are many beautiful houses along the shore and overall it was an excellent experience
