Hannaford

I need a pain medication I had 4 deferent meds to be filled I called and they said that they there for me to pick up the one I needed for pain was told to come back in an hour. So we come back in an hour still not ready. Asked to come back in half hour at that point I was mad and spoke up manager offered a gift card I told him what to do with it. I now get my meds from helmets in van buren delivered to the house at no charge great people to deal with. Will not shop there again

Delicious fresh food from the Deli sandwiches and grilled chicken. The store is very clean, has plenty staff to assist customers with their needs. They have cashiers at counters and self checkout stations as well which is very convenient. Has all grocery needs and more in Caribou.

I've been going here for 8 years. Until recently all of the employees and products have been great. I like the made on premise salads and usually buy 3 or 4 a week. They cost twice as much as Walmart salads but are twice as good and have better ingredients. But ... recently I bought a salad that was supposed to have avocado as an ingredient. What I got was pieces of avocado (could have been the seed all chopped up, beats me) that were hard as rocks. Broke a tooth on it. That ain't right. Next time I went in I asked a young girl in the salad dept. who looked like she's still in high school about it. She told me that's just the way avocados are this time of year, looked at me disdainfully, gave me a totally dismissive "smile", and walked away while I was still talking, not willing to consider my comments. No, child, avocados are not hard as a rock at certain times of the year unless something is wrong with them, and if they were, only an idiot would put those really hard pieces into a salad for unsuspecting customers to chomp down on. I could have enlightened her a lot relative to avocados, but she had her "woke" ears closed and had no interest in what a consumer of her salads had to say. I don't like rude. These vacuous, wrongly indoctrinated kids today have only contempt for seniors. Most of the employees there are really awesome and attentive to their customers. But times are changing apparently, and not for the better. Not sure I'll ever be back there. Learn to listen to your customers. You might not always be the only game in town.

Be careful of the Apple pies in Bakery, they are by far the worse. The Strawberry is very good. Hannaford to go is a great service, could be better if the shoppers were better at picking items. Just leave specific notes if you need specific items just hope employees decided to follow notes.

Horrible store. Incompetent and rude manager and staff. The To Go service is a nightmare. The parking lot is a death trap. Complaints are never dealt with. Expired, over-priced food. The groups of teenagers mocking customers and stealing items every day are ignored, but when I went in with my teen-aged niece, she was stalked and harassed by an employee (the man in the BLUE shirt.) Other family members have the same issues, or worse. An elderly family friend was followed throughout the store, and then out to their car. None of us are ever coming back to this store.

They're an okay place to shop. Lacking selection which I'm surprised surving several towns around them. I've bought some meat that wasn't fresh. I buy in quantity (family pack) which I divide up at home. I've found some meats with a mild foul odor telling me it's starting to go bad. I shop my meats & produce elsewhere.

We were standing in line n they opened a line n cashed us out right away! It was awesome! And it's the best place to shop in caribou. I go there 4 to 6 times a week!

Incredibly strong odour in the deli and produce sections made it hard for us to want to shop at this location or find it cleanly, staff members however were quick to offer a hand when searching for items. Though the customer service while at the checkout was lack lustre and borderline non existent, large selection of some rather more niche items…it’s a grocery store I suppose 🤷🏽‍♀️
