The staff is very pleasant and helpful. I love shopping there because it has a Mom and Pop vibe. I got my plants that attract butterflies there and they calm my nerves when the racoons dug up my lawn—they were looking for grubs. Well, not anymore, thanks to Atlantic Nursery & Garden Shop. Thank you to Atlantic Nursery & Garden Shop for these three great plants for my office! Pictured from left to right are a ficus rubber plant, croton, and Chinese evergreen. The staff was so friendly and helpful, assisting this plant newbie with all my questions and matching me up with the perfect plants to fit my needs. Even with it being winter, the selection was unbelievable; I must've seen over a hundred different plants and varieties to choose from while browsing the store. They also include re-planting and potting when you buy the pots from them. I highly recommend Atlantic Nursery & Garden Shop and look forward to buying more plants from them in the future as I build my collection!

Best nursery in Nassau County for personal service, hard-to-find items and assistance in obtaining the unusual plants that aren't what you find at every other big nursery. This isn't a discount big-box store, so don't expect those prices. You're paying for the service, experience, expertise and the quality here, and you will get it hands-down, every time. I've shopped here for 30 years on my MIL's recommendation, and they have never disappointed me. My 20 year-old Mountain Laurel from Atlantic is pictured. It wows people to see it in my garden. *That's* what you're paying for here.

Friendly and helpful staff make navigating this nursery easy. Big location with great inventory (both plants and gardening supplies) and plenty of parking. You can get lost roaming the store looking at all of the beautiful plants.

Last year I used them for landscaping and planting flowers and bushes , big mistake. Not only are half the flowers dead , they cut the electrical wire taking out a shrub . Never again . Waste of money .
