Carriage House Apartments

Great Place to live. I have lived here 5 yrs. The apartment manager Pamela is so helpful, friendly and professional. It is a quiet community. I can’t hear my neighbors at all. Maintenance is always quick to fix anything and very nice. I highly recommend living here.

Carriage house Apartments is a great place to live. The garage is spacious, our apartment is cozy and the staff is wonderful! Pam, and Juan are both awesome and super responsive! When our garage motor went out, I walked right down to the office to let them know.. 2 days later a contractor was out, and it was fixed! I recently resigned our lease for another year for all of these reasons. If you are looking for an affordable, safe and convenient place to live then carriage house is calling your name!

I’m in my third year living here. When I first moved in my monthly utilities were between $95-$105 per month. That has now gone up to between$145-$170 a month. This month’s bill has a $41.70 COMMON AREA water charge. Anytime they do ANYTHING maintenance wise on the property and use water residents are charged for it. One year they drained the pool to do repairs to it. Then filled it back up. Then drained it AGAIN and filled it back up AGAIN. Residents SHOULD NOT be paying for this. There has also been an Anytime Plumbing van on the premises for months trying to unclog a drain in the parking lot by running water from a garden hose into it instead of actually figuring out what the real issue is. Why are we paying for this and why is it taking months to fix this issue? I also have a west facing apartment with no shade. They refuse to plant a new tree after they cut down the existing one because one branch broke off of it. Instead of maintaining the trees with an arborist they keep having them come in and cut down entire trees. They also refuse to even do something as simple as putting in attic fans. So my electricity is close to $200 every summer because the only way I can keep my apartment a reasonable temperature is to run AC non stop. I see many compliments on here about Pamela the manager. I don’t have that same experience. Pamela is not helpful and ignores my emails and phone calls. Totally unprofessional. I’ve also contacted Sylo directly and again get no response. Do yourself a favor and don’t move here. Edited to add: I wasn’t asking for a 20 foot tree, I was asking for a new tree that would eventually grow enough to provide shade. I don’t appreciate being made to look like an idiot. I’m not posting misleading info. I’m posting this from my perspective of being a tenant here for three years.

I love the Pamela the front desk of the apartment and our maintenance guy Juan. They are both amazing and respond quickly to my concerns. The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 star is because it’s clear that there wasn’t a thorough and proper cleaning of the apartment before I moved in. I had to do my own deep clean and may hire someone because there are still places I can’t reach in that need to be cleaned in order for the apartment to be sanitary and livable. I hope this review is used to benefit others moving in the future and that the complex hires someone to clean before every move in. Thank you (:

I’ve lived here for 4 years and it has been safe and always nice. I’ve never felt in danger, but cared for. Pamela has made sure that if I have a problem it was solved to satisfaction. This is a great location.

Juan and the maintenance team at Carriage House Apts responded quick to my refrigerator going out. I was very impressed of how fast a new refrigerator was delivered/installed. Juan was very communicative of any status as the request was being completed. Juan and the maintenance team are a true asset to the Carriage House community.

I always feel safe here. The tenants are respectful and courteous around me. Pamela in the office is always friendly and willing to help with whatever question I have. The grounds are kept very nice too. And also there is ongoing maintenance for the units. I am very happy here and the location is perfect!

Apartment is recently done but build quality is lacking in spots. Resident portal breaks every month so paying rent is harder than it needs to be. Power outlet placement is horrible, you can work with it but be prepared to run awkward extension cords. Overall on a daily basis it’s good enough but the little things add up to lower my review.
