Chapin Smiles Dentistry

I had a procedure done back in early December of 2024 that I was overcharged for, as a result I was suppose to receive a refund. From December to April 3rd, I have attempted multiple times to get the refund processed. I was told the only person who could process it was the Office Manager, Kristy Morris. I ended calling and emailing Kristy Morris multiple times for days in a row. I didn't receive a response in email at all and the 2 times she did answer the phone, it was to tell me she had to follow up with billing and would call me right back. She never called and I had to go back to calling and emailing multiple time. The front office staff would answer if I chose the make an appointment option and billing never returned any calls when I chose that option. The front office staff would say they left Kristy notes that I called, but she never called. Finally in March, she said that the check was mailed to me, I never received a check in mail and requested she reprocess it and I will pick it up from the office. She told me she would let me know when it was ready, fast forward to April and I still hadn't heard anything about it. Again emails and calls were ignored. It wasn't until I reached out to customer service to have a request/complaint sent to the Regional Director about my situation, that I finally received an email (not call) from Kristy Morris stating that my check arrived that morning (the next day after I requested a note for Director) and I could pick it up. She never acknowledged her lack of communication. Finally, I was able to receive my check for my refund that was owed to me from December. I gave the rating because although the dentist might be good at their work, it leaves a poor taste in my mouth knowing that an Office Manager would continuously ignoring my acts of communication for something that belongs to me and not even apologize.

I appreciate my visits here. Front desk staff are friendly. Techs are very knowledgeable and helpful. And doctors are experts, pleasant, and efficient. Both Dr. Louque and Dr. Alabisi are highly recommended - you cannot go wrong. From my experience, if you want someone who’s more quiet and just gets it done, I’d recommend Dr. Alabisi. Or if you want someone who’s more affable and going to explain more details, I’d recommend Dr. Louque. Both are effective in their work from my experience. My favorite part is being able to schedule and pre-checkin online. It also seems that their equipment is technically advanced which allows a higher quality experience from my pov.

Walked in to set my first appointment with Chapin Smiles but was immediately met with, “Have a seat, we’ll be right with you”. No greeting, no questions asked. I waited patiently for about 20mins. I’m not sure what the delay was but the 2 ladies at the front desk didn’t appear to be busy in the slightest bit. I left with no acknowledgment at all. There was nothing warm or welcoming about the staff whatsoever.

Chapin Smiles Dentistry and Dr. Turner are top notch! My husband and I recently went there as new patients and were extremely pleased with our treatment. Dr. Turner was very knowledgeable, gentle and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Turner and the Chapin Smiles staff for your dentistry needs.

I had an incredible experience at Chapin Smiles office! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Dr. Louque took the time to explain everything thoroughly, which really helped ease my anxiety. He walked me through the details of my current dental situation, especially regarding an old root canal done years ago by another doctor. He broke down what had gone wrong and reassured me that he could fix it, preventing further infections or pain. His calm and patient approach made me feel confident in his care. I’m so grateful for the way he took the time to listen to my concerns and made sure I understood each step of the process. Highly recommend this office for anyone seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough dentist!

The team here is really nice but I have had a very poor experience with the dentist. I have had multiple issues with his work that are going to cause long-term issues for me. I tried to change dentists to stay here and avoid going through all of the new patient onboarding somewhere else and they told me they would still have to treat me like a new patient (even though I have gone here for years). It is also frequently a pain to communicate with them. They use a third party answering service and it's a headache to deal with.

All the docs are great! However I can’t get a return phone call! It’s always someone else need to it, whether it be an appointment or checking on my appliance. I’ve been waiting months for it. A few weeks ago, someone did actually make an appointment for me, but they never called me to tell me about it. I found out when I got a reminder on my phone however I was out of town. The ladies in the office are very very sweet, but I don’t know. Four stars because of the doctors.

This is truly a great establishment!! The staff and Dr. McGary and assistant are truly amazing. I had a wonderful visit even though I had a major extraction. Dr. McGary was always letting me know beforehand on what to expect so my anxiety did not get the best of me.! I am returning always , along with my daughter too for all future dental needs
